Mission Statement

Founded in 1995, Benefits Management Corporation, a 501C3 California Non-Profit Corporation, has provided representative payee and money management services to vulnerable populations since 1997.

Benefits Management Corporation is one of the largest representative payee agencies in California. Benefits Management Corporation works with the Social Security Administration for people receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability, as well as various pension plans, including the Veterans Administration, the Civil Service Annuity, Public Employees Retirement System, Rail Road Retirement and private fiduciaries, insurance companies and individuals.

Benefits Management Corporation has developed an accounting and control system, built around an IBM AS400 mainframe and an NT Server PC network, that supports a time tested trust management software package. The Trust Service software package is used by more than 60 trust management organizations.

Benefits Management Corporation accounting protocols return approximately $30,000 worth of un-cashed checks to clients' accounts every month. Daily account reconciliation, and the ability to instantly verify the status of a check with our bank prevents forged or fraudulent checks from being posted to a client's account. Independent account reconciliation by the bank and a semi-annual account review by an independent CPA guarantee the integrity of our accounting and control systems.
